Google officially launched AMP for emails in 2019 for the Gmail web app, turning emails from static pages into dynamic micro-websites right inside user's inbox.
Currently, AMP for emails are supported by Yahoo Mail and Mail.ru apart from Gmail.
But, before you can send AMP emails, you will have to register with them for AMP emails. This guide will discuss how to register with these email clients to start sending interactive AMP emails.

Registering for AMP approval from email clients
At present, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and Mail.ru support sending AMP for email. However, these email clients require you to fulfill certain prerequisites for sending AMP emails, and this process is known as whitelisting.
Apart from creating both the AMP and text/HTML version of the email, you will have to:
Register with these email clients following their guidelines.
Here we provide a step-by-step guide on registering with each of these email clients to start sending AMP emails.
How to register with Gmail to send dynamic emails
When you are all set to launch your AMP emails to your users, you must register with Gmail by following these steps:
Ensure that you comply with all the guidelines and requirements listed by Google.
Send a real, production-ready AMP email from your production servers (or a server with similar SPF/DKIM/DMARC/‘From:’ / ‘Return-Path:’ headers), including the AMP email MIME part to (ampforemail.whitelisting@gmail.com). Google needs this to check compliance with all its guidelines and requirements.
When you’re sending this email, follow these steps:
Ensure that the dynamic AMP version of the email is right before sending the email by testing it in Gmail AMP for the email playground.
Instead of forwarding the email, send it directly. When forwarding an AMP email, Gmail removes the AMP MIME parts.
Fill out the registration form and await their response. The turn-around time for most requests is 5 working days.
Getting successfully whitelisted by Gmail
Your joining as a sender of AMP email is subject to how well you comply with the Gmail Bulk Sender Guidelines, which can change without any prior notice. You will be held responsible for ensuring the same with the current guidelines.
Your registration may be revoked at any time if abuse or policy violations are detected or at Google’s discretion.
You might be asked for additional information during the registration process or even after the registration is complete to verify your compliance.
Be informed that Google will reject your application if you send a test (blank) email, if you don’t send an email for review, or even if you send an email that is forwarded or doesn’t contain an AMP MIME part.

How to register with Yahoo Mail to send AMP emails
Yahoo Mail (Verizon Media) requires you to register with ampverification@yahoo.com before enabling AMP content within emails sent to their users. You can follow these steps to get started:
Read through Yahoo Mail's guidelines and requirements and make sure you comply with them.
Send a real, production-ready email coming from your production server with valid SPF/DKIM/DMARC and the AMP MIME part to ampverification@yahoo.com. Do not forward emails to that address.
Fill out the registration form and wait for approval.
Once Yahoo Mail has responded with approval, you are all set to send AMP emails to their users.
How to register with Mail.ru to send AMP emails
You must meet the following necessities to use AMP on Mail.ru:
The domain you use for sending emails has a website with a logo and information about the company. The topic of the website must correspond to the content of the mailing.
SPF, DKIM, DMARC are set for the domain. DMARC policy is set in "blocking" mode: p=quarantine or p=reject.
You've been sending emails with a substantial DKIM for no under 3 months. They correspond to Mail.ru mailings rules.
The quantity of emails sent from the domain is not under 5K per month (in any event, for 3 months).
Mailings have a List-Unsubscribe header in the headers. You withdraw a client from the mailings both in the wake of clicking the "Withdraw" symbol in the Mail.ru interface and following the connection in the email.
The domain is now registered with Postmaster Mail.ru. You get Feedback Loop (FBL) and process the reports right away.
Insert the AMP part in one of your emails that is ready.
Send the address from which you normally send emails to include it in the whitelist. In the solicitation, demonstrate the contact address we can use for correspondence if there should be issues with your mailings.
The email solicitation to utilize AMP must pass your domain's SPF, DKIM, and DMARC check.
In Mail.ru, you can send test emails only from approved addresses. So it's best to get approved first and then test AMP blocks.
